A Rich
History
Carbon County was settled in the 1870s, but really came to be in the 1880s when the railroad came through and coal fields were discovered. The mines brought prosperity and people - making Carbon County the most ethnically diverse county in all of Utah - and it’s history and heritage are celebrated to this day.
