Carbon County does not endorse any candidate and is not responsible for verifying the accuracy of any statement provided by any candidate.

2024 REGULAR GENERAL ELECTION

One (1) County Commissioner/Surveyor for a term of four (4) years

ASSESSOR

One (1) County Assessor for a term of four (4) years

TREASURER

One (1) County Treasurer for a term of four (4) years

RECORDER

One (1) County Treasurer for a term of four (4) years

JUDICIAL

SUPREME COURT

There will be a retention election for one (1) Supreme Court Judge, provided that the incumbent whose term is expiring files during the filing period.

JUSTICE COURT - EAST CARBON

Any Justice Court judge whose term is expiring shall be subject to an unopposed retention election in the county or counties in which the court to which the judge is appointed is located.

SEVENTH DISTRICT COURT JUDGE

Any Justice Court judge whose term is expiring shall be subject to an unopposed retention election in the county or counties in which the court to which the judge is appointed is located.

U.S. SENATE

One (1) U.S. Senator for a term of six (6) years

U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

One (1) Representative for a two (2) year term in each of the following U.S. Congressional Districts: Third District, which consists of Carbon, Daggett, Duchesne, Emery, Grand, part of Salt Lake, San Juan, part of Summit, Uintah, part of Utah and Wasatch Counties.

U.S. PRESIDENT

One (1) U.S. President for a term of four (4) years

STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL 

One (1) State Attorney General for a term of four (4) years

STATE GOVERNOR 

One (1) State Governor for a term of four (4) years

STATE AUDITOR

One (1) State Auditor for a term of four (4) years

STATE EXECUTIVE-STATE TREASURER

One (1) State Treasurer for a term of four (4) years

STATE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES

One (1) member of the Utah House of Representatives for a two (2) year term from state legislative district 67.

STATE SENATE 

One (1) member of the State Senate for a two (2) year term from state legislative district 26.

STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION

One (1) member for a four (4) year term from each of the following State School Districts: i. District Fourteen (14), located in Beaver, Carbon, Emery, Grand, Iron, Juab, Millard, Sanpete, Sevier, and Utah Counties.

LOCAL SCHOOL BOARD

One (1) member for a four (4) year term from the following local school districts: District No. 1, District No. 2 and District No. 3. District 1 to include Scofield, Pleasant Valley, East Helper, West Helper and Spring Glen. District 2 to include Fairgrounds, South County, Carbonville, Westwood and Miller Creek. District 3 to include South Price, East Price and Central Price.
