The County requires that you maintain a license for your dogs. If you have four or more dogs, you must also have a kennel permit, which are issued by animal services.

Animal License Information
Licenses for pets located in the unincorporated portions of the county are sold at the County Clerk’s office at 751 E 100 N Suite #1100, Price UT 84501 Mon - Fri, 8am-5pm (excluding holidays)
License Fees:
$5 for spayed or neutered
$25 for non-spayed or non-neutered
Dog tags are issued each year upon proof of rabies vaccination
Senior Citizens (pet owners over age 65) - one time fee of $10 then the license is free for the life of the animal. Tags need to be picked up each year with proof of rabies.
Renewal Period:
December 1 - January 31
$5 late fee applies after January 31

FAQ
Will I get a reminder each year to renew my pet’s license?
Yes, a reminder is sent out in December. Whether you receive the reminder or not, licenses are due in January and a late fee will accrue in February.
Do you offer any discount?
Unsexed dog licenses are only $5.00 with proof of spay or neuter.
We offer Senior discounts for owners age 65+. A one time fee of $10.00 and tags are free for the life of the pet.
